Nana Suzanna’s Grilled Shrimp Skewers

1 or 2 wooden skewers per person
1 bottle “Nana Suzanna’s Original Gourmet Sauce”
3 or 4 large raw deveined and peeled shrimp per skewer
1 Red onion cut into wedges
2 or 3 Bell peppers – any color, green is pretty - but red is sweeter, cut into kebab size pieces.
Pineapple chunks
Mushrooms - if you must

Soak wooden skewers in warm water for at least ½ hour – (they will turn into kindling if they are dry).

Alternate the shrimp, peppers, onion, pineapple (and shrooms) on each skewer. If you are not using mushrooms put a shrimp at each end to secure the other pieces.

Grill skewers over medium high flames to quickly char the veggies and pineapple and to be sure shrimp is not over cooked.

Brush “Nana Suzanna’s Original Gourmet Sauce” on both sides of skewers just as they come off the grill to glaze the feast.
